AS A WRITER...
I am constantly striving to better myself. It's my goal to make every body of work I produce better than the last. The idea of having more to learn about being a writer drives me to improve my skills, and strengthen my weaknesses. As a writer, the main challenge I face is finding a place to begin. Once I have created an outline I am able to start a project with confidence. My strength as a writer comes from creative writing. I enjoy the creative flexibility it gives me room to imagine, brainstorm, and create.
I HAVE LEARNED...
That writing for an organization is a process that must be approached with the proper preparation and patience This means taking the time to brainstorm my ideas on paper and create an outline before starting a project. it also requires the ability to work in collaborative groups and being open to constructive criticism in order to improve my work. When I first began working in my collaborative group I was taken aback by the constructive criticism I received but, as time passed I learned to appreciate it and saw it as an opportunity for improvement.
